Located on Rua do Norte, our modern guesthouse is the perfect base from which to explore all that this vibrant city has to offer.

UP&DOWN SUITES TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

Check-in: Starts at 3:00 PM We prefer to carry out an in-person check-in, but if this is not possible, we will send all the information via WhatsApp, including how to get there, how to access the property, and which rooms or unit are assigned.
Check-out: Until 11:00 AM


Non-refundable
The total cost of the reservation will be charged at the time of booking (100%).
A credit card is required at the time of booking or proof of bank transfer of full payment.
Includes taxes and fees.

Standard Rate 7 days
A hold equal to the price of the first day will be made at the time of booking.
A credit card is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance will be processed 7 days prior to check-in. Includes taxes and fees.
This reservation is refundable if you cancel up to 7 days before the arrival date at 12:00 PM local time.
In case of cancellation up to 7 days prior, the value of the first night will be refunded less bank commission fees.
After the end of the free cancellation period, if you cancel within 7 days of arrival, no refund will be given for any payments made.
No-show reservations will be treated the same way as cancellations.

Flex 30
A hold equal to the price of the first day will be made at the time of booking.
A credit card is required at the time of booking.
The remaining balance will be processed 30 days prior to check-in. Includes taxes and fees.
This reservation is refundable if you cancel up to 30 days before the arrival date at 12:00 PM local time.
In case of cancellation up to 30 days prior, the value of the first night will be refunded less bank commission fees.
After the end of the free cancellation period, if you cancel within 30 days of arrival, no refund will be given for any payments made.
No-show reservations will be treated the same way as cancellations.

Terms and Conditions

UP&DOWN Suites is a brand of Alexandre Alves Correia, Unip Lda, headquartered at Rua da Boa Viagem, 53 Calhetas 9600-016 Ribeira Grande, a company dedicated to providing accommodation for tourists on short-term stays, registered with the Regional Tourism Secretariat of the Azores.

This accommodation offers guests the option of renting rooms or renting the entire unit.
When choosing a room, you will share the common areas, namely the living room, kitchen, and bathroom if the chosen room does not have a private bathroom.
If you choose to rent the unit, even if it is not for full occupancy, you will not share the space with anyone other than those you registered when making the reservation.
Access to the rooms, unit, and building is via codes that are generated beforehand after the guest completes the registration form.
Smoking is prohibited in the rooms, and a fine of €200 will be charged to the guest if this occurs.

Third-party access to the accommodation is prohibited, even if the guest has booked the entire unit, as is the holding of any event in the unit.
If this occurs, access will be blocked and your reservation will be immediately canceled.

Cleaning and tidying: Every day our cleaning team goes to the units and checks if any cleaning is needed.
An intermediate cleaning and towel change is performed after 3 days of stay. If the stay in any room/unit is longer than 7 days, bed linen will be replaced at no additional cost.
(Advance towel changes are subject to costs).
The use of the kitchen is shared if the entire unit is not rented, and the cleaning of utensils and other items is the responsibility of the guest.
At the end of their stay, guests must deposit any items (vegetables/fruits and others) they will not take with them in a container provided for their reuse or disposal.

Vehicle Parking
We provide 2 parking spaces in front of each unit, but they are not assigned to any specific room.
If a space is available, you may park. If you cannot find a space, you may park in the car park located in front of the building.

Our accommodation has a video surveillance system in the common areas, as regulated by Article 31 of Law 34/2013, of May 16.
All personal data provided is used exclusively for registration in our system; no information is shared with third parties, and our accommodation complies with the current GDPR.
