B&B and Hostel Pod Skalo

Located in the heart of Slovenia, only a 5-minute walk from the old centre of Kamnik and 23 km from Ljubljana. Family run B&B and Hostel Pod Skalo offers comfortable stay in homely atmosphere of a renovated 18th century house. Interior was refurnished and combines modern with old-style touch to complemet the long history of the house.

B&B and Hostel offers a rich self-service breakfast, which is included in the room rate. There is also a laundry room (with additional payment - 6 €), a terrace where our guests can relax and a common room with a kitchenette, refridgerator, tea making facilities, toaster, microwave and TV. You can refresh yourself in an interesting old-style pub with wide selection of beer and many other soft and alcohol drinks.
Pod Skalo is an excellent starting point for hiking with many hiking trails nearby. Next to the B&B and Hostel is Kamnik's sports centre with public swimming pool, tennis and beach volley courts.
Located in the Central Slovenia Kamnik is a good base to visit Bled, Postojna cave, Ljubljana, Maribor. All the destinations are available less than 2 hours by car.
