Had a nice stay at Caravela. Private room was good size/cozy and included a sink in the room. The young girl at the reception was super helpful and welcoming! There’s a little patio by the reception and a mini kitchen. Note that there’s only 1 washroom for the accommodation, but you rarely had to wait. Prime location in city. A little noisy from street but main door locked after 11pm so felt relatively safe.

Location doesn't get much better. The value for money is very aligned. The terrace is also a major bonus, though it would be better if it was opened earlier/more consistently.. The 'kitchen' is just a table with kettle, toaster and microwave and dirty dishes are just left out to be cleaned by the staff? The staff are also missing most of the day, people come in to check-in or make a reservation and ring the bell over & over to no response. You get what you pay for, occasional cute little dogs.

For the location alone I will stay here again, very central but far enough away from the bars. The staff were very helpful, we arrived late due to a flight delay but reception stayed open for me to check in because I rang ahead. The building has a certain old fashioned charm but everything is well maintained and very clean.
