Hostel Santa Monaca

The santa monaca hostel has been running for 40 years, the service, the price, the hospitable atmosphere, and the young dynamic management all make Santa Monaca one of the best known and most popular hostels in Florence.

The hostel is located in an ancient convent of the 15th century in the historical centre of Florence in the quarter of Santo Spirito.
The main museums and monuments are within a few minutes walking distance, as is the city's main railway station.
As this is an independent youth hostel there is no age limit and a yha card is not required.

Please note:
Starting from the 1st of January 2020 the CITY TAX in Florence is going to be increased and it's NOT INCLUDED in the price of your bed.
The amount will be 4,00 PER PERSON PER NIGHT.
Payable directly in cash at the reception during check-in.

Reservations can be cancelled or changed directly through Hostelworld.com
or by e-mail at least 48H before the day of arrival (by 12 am of 2 days before).
In any case after that time the cost of the first night will be charged on the credit card for as no show.

Check-in can be done between 2 pm and 2 am.

Rooms are available at 2.00 pm.
For arrivals prior to 2.00 pm it's possible to use luggage room, kitchen and common room.
Bathrooms upstairs are closed between 11.30 am and 2.00 pm for cleaning,
but are available downstairs by the reception.
Check-out is at 10.30 am.


***A passport or ID; for European Union Citizens is necessary for check in. Residents of the city of Florence and it’s Provinces are not permitted to stay in the Hostel.***
Cancellation policy: 24h before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 02:00 pm to 03:00 am.
Check out before 10:30 .
Payment upon arrival by cash, credit cards, debit cards.
Taxes not included - occupancy tax 4.00 EUR per person per night.
Curfew from 3am to 6am.
Non smoking.
