Cable Beach Backpackers

It's all good at Cable Beach Backpackers, home of young travellers and budget backpackers!

Situated very close to Cable Beach, we appeal to all kinds of people and backgrounds (especially those looking for a good time).

We have both same-sex and co-ed dorm rooms, with communal bathroom. There's also a few double and single rooms available on request. Our rooms are always basic and very clean, opening onto covered verandas overlooking either our garden courtyard and pool or the garden boundaries.

Our facilities include an on-site bar with regular themed party nights and bar games (with prizes!), a pool table, large-screen TV, a huge outdoor dining area, free use of the BBQs, a pool with sunchairs, a massive kitchen with commercial-sized fridges and gas cookers, washer and dryer (and lots of clothes lines), FREE Wi-Fi and, free on-site parking. There's plenty of space to kick a football around.

We also have regular free sausage sizzle nights, free rice nights and free hot dog nights!

We're known for our great, relaxed, casual and friendly atmosphere - welcome to your new home away from home! We've been involved in the backpacking industry for over 12 years and we know what it takes to make your stay an enjoyable and memorable one. Our hostel caters to 18- to 30-year-olds, while our staff are young, casual and friendly. We want you to have a clean, safe and fun place to stay!

A $10 deposit for each of the following is required upon check-in: key, plate & cutlery set. All deposits are fully refundable upon complete return and check-out.

Earliest Check-out is 10am. Earlier check-outs to be completed the night before your departure.
