The stuff is very nice but the hostel is just improvised and non functioning. I checked in at 2pm and got a bed. Around 6pm the lady told me to move to a different bed because the hostel was overbooked. She brought a mattress from god knows where, and told me to stay at the top bunk bed of a bunk bed that has no ladder or stairs. I literally had to jump like a ninja to go to the bathroom (and woke up the poor guy that was on the bottom bed), and unsurprisingly I twisted me ankle

It was hard to gauge what this hostel was like based on reviews. It’s fantastic value for money, kitchen is functional, bathrooms were clean and the shower is hot. Rooms were a little warm/dark (not much natural light), there isn’t anywhere to sit/no communal space (more of a motel vibe) and unfortunately the roof leaked (owner is fixing this immediately!). The waterfalls tour was fantastic through this hostel. Ultimately, will cover your needs but isn’t social/you probs wouldn’t chill here
