MobyDick Hostel welcomes travelers and backpackers from all over the world. We are located in downtown Seward, close to the Alaska Sealife Center and the Seward Small Boat Harbor.

Seward, on Resurrection Bay, is the gateway to the Kenai Fjords National Park, including tidewater glaciers and Exit Glacier.

Wildlife is abundant in our area. You might see a bear or a moose, and if you go on a day cruise: orcas, humpback whales, sea lions, otters, seals, puffins and/or lots of other birds. Ask us about discounts, too :)

MobyDick Hostel Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 7 days before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the total value of your stay.

Check in from 17:00 to 22:00 .
Check out from 00:00 to 10:00 .

Payment upon arrival by cash.

Taxes are not included. Additional tax of 11%.

The reception is only open during check-in hours. There is a phone number available for emergencies.

Quiet hours between 11 pm and 7 am.
