I had a lovely stay at Riad Dar Zaida in Marrakech. The riad has a beautiful traditional Moroccan atmosphere and offers a peaceful place to relax after exploring the busy streets of the medina. It’s a great base for experiencing the culture, food and character of Marrakech.I really appreciated the charm and welcoming feel of the place. If you’re looking for somewhere with authentic Moroccan character while travelling on a budget, I’d definitely recommend considering Riad Dar Zaida.

I was extremely disappointed with my stay at Riad Dar Zaida. When paying the room balance and taxi, a staff member attempted to overcharge me when converting euros to MAD. The room was also in poor condition. The toilet and sink were leaking, causing a persistent sewage smell. I would not recommend staying here. Even at the cheap price, it was not worth it. I believe the owner became aware of my dissatisfaction and cancelled my booking on HostelWorld to prevent me from leaving a bed review.
