Allegretto Bed & Breakfast

Allegretto Bed & Breakfast occupies two neighboring 100-year-old houses in a quiet residential street in the Cerro Alegre area of Valparaiso. In the nineteenth century the area was home to the English and German immigrants who largely built the city. Today many of its grand old houses are some like Allegretto with ceilings four metres high - have been restored, and the area is a safe haven for visitors who come to enjoy its bars and restaurants, funicular railways, pretty streets and panoramic views of the bay.

Allegretto Bed & Breakfast is literally just around the corner from the bars, restaurants and boutiques that are most popular with visitors to Valparaiso. It is English-owned and run and, in keeping with the age of the house, much of the furniture is antique. For entertainment, as well as the 1960 jukebox stocked with classic vinyl, there is also a piano, a subbuteo table football game and a jigsaw always in progress in the living room.
