Stayed for two nights, private room was clean and large but smelled like feet. No AC, instead a fan mounted on the wall. Bathrooms were decent, communal kitchen, bar, and pool are right across the street and quick to get to. Location is okay, kind of a strange area but a very short walk away from some good bars and restaurants. Vibe was very strange, staff were helpful but slightly off putting, absolutely no socializing going on even across the street, everyone staying at either location was 30+

Great location and cheap rooms! But the rooms really need to be updated. The curtains were disgustingly dirty and we found trash underneath the bed. The bed was worn out and uncomfortable and creaked. The only pillows we had were decorative cushions (who knows how often they get cleanded). You can only pay with card in dollars and not in colones (like we wanted to). The guesthouse is right next to a traincrossing and you can hear it´s horn starting at 5am. Not for light sleepers.
