We are a new and small hostel located in the center of Chiang Mai city. We also provide high-quality coffee and homemade bakery for all travelers. It is only 10-15 minutes away from the airport and only just 700 meters from Thapae gate.

Once In A Blue Moon Cafe & Hostel features rooms with free WiFi and comfortable rooms. The hostel is 5 minute walk to Thapae gate. Complete with air conditioning, all the cozy rooms come with wooden furniture. We provide shared bathrooms with separate male & female showers.

We have different kinds of rooms for everyone. private room for a couple, a female-only room for your safety, and a mixed room for anyone traveling with friends.

We operate everything with a homey feeling and welcome everyone to come and pay a visit.

NOTE!! : Our staff only operates from 07.00 am - 05.30 pm, after 05.30 pm please contact us via onceinabluemoon.official@gmail.com and we will give you access for doing the self-check-in.

Once In A Blue Moon Cafe & Hostel v Chiang Mai nabízí skvělou polohu a přátelský personál. Ačkoli pokoje mohou být malé a postele tvrdé, čistota a vybavení jsou obecně dobře hodnoceny. Je to dobrý výchozí bod pro prohlídku starého města.

4 bed dorm room was tiny and didn’t really have space for people’s luggage. The beds are hard but that’s expected in Thailand. You aren’t provided with a towel which I didn’t realise beforehand but I guess for £5 a night you can’t really complain. The women’s bathroom was downstairs from our dorm room which was slightly annoying given the men’s bathroom was on our floor. The door lock makes very loud musical sounds when opened/closed. My friend had her headphones taken so it didn’t feel safe.

This was well located for during the lantern festival. The staff were great. However, the 4 bed dorm was tiny with barely enough space for bags. The beds were rock hard, and on my first night I had to request to move beds as there were ants crawling across my wall. My headphones disappeared from my room and whilst staff went above and beyond to help, they were not found and I had to leave accepting they had been taken from my room. staff as helpful as they could be but it was very upsetting.
