The Paz & Amor in Nazaré, as the name suggests, is a special place. It has been completely refurbished and renovated to welcome people from all over the world, provide a unique experience.
The atmosphere is beautiful, pleasant, welcoming, bright and with a youthful energy!

In our pleasant kitchen, we have an observation point of the São Miguel lighthouse, where we can see the formations of the spectacular giant waves at height. Part of the property is a wonderful, sunny terrace from where guests can enjoy a magnificent sunset.

Skylights scattered around the house flood the room with sunlight, making it possible, on clear nights, to observe the moon and stars without leaving the house!

The place is super clean! Just gets hot in the common areas in the summer. Room has a big door/window you can open to get more fresh air inside the room, not that noisy during night. Location is top tier, 10min walk to the beach. Hosts are super friendly too!

The hosts are nice and the location is great. I had issues getting into the hostel which caused some frustration and confusion. I did not receive instructions on how to enter the hostel and the downstairs door looked like an electronic entry so that was confusing as well. I had talked to other guests who also had challenges getting in as they didn’t get the email either, however I am unsure if that is an issue with the hostel itself or with HostelWorld. The price seemed steep considering it all.
