Cayzen is alright. The staff are wonderful. Kind, helpful, easygoing, accommodating. The private room was pretty good. The bathroom wasn’t attached so a shared washroom. It was clean enough. The bed was somewhat uncomfortable but also good enough. While the room was small, there was a lot of storage space so that’s a bonus.

I thought it was decent, but it’s not for backpackers. It’s difficult to find though and a lot of my uber drivers had difficultly finding it and picking me up. It’s more for students who are studying in Chennai. I was the only traveler here. Staff were friendly and helpful though. Also check out time is very early.

I got an uber here from the airport. My female-only dorm was apparently a mistake in the app, otherwise I felt very safe in the dorm and had good chats being the only female staying. I liked the seating bit and the water refills. I had to get Ubers everywhere, the city is very large and unfortunately the hostel isn’t near a lot of the sites. The luggage storage is not secure, just in reception, but good enough.
