We're an independent hostel with a soul of our own, set inside a striking English mansion in the heart of Quinta Camacho. We have capacity for 42 guests: shared dorms, private rooms with bathroom, and private rooms without bathroom, with 24-hour reception.

Quinta Camacho is a neighborhood of architectural heritage, safe and residential, with its own bars, restaurants, and shops to explore on foot. We're located within the vibrant Chapinero district, Bogotá's epicenter of fashion, culture, and entertainment. Just 5 minutes from TransMilenio (and soon, Bogotá's Metro), with easy access to Downtown, Zona Rosa, the Airport, the city's main concert venues, and bus terminals for exploring around Bogotá.

At Marietta, you set the pace. We have an essential, functional kitchen for your no-fuss recipes, and a comfortable coworking space to get things done with good connection. Our common areas — lounges, a billiard table, a covered patio — are the natural meeting point for travelers who, like you, prefer real connection over forced parties. Here, you're as much the host as we are: we share local recommendations and routes, and every now and then we throw parties and special events with locals joining in — not every weekend, but who knows, your stay might just line up with one.

Just steps away, Pastora Mezcal — our taquería-restaurant — awaits with great tacos, micheladas and fresh sodas, drinks, and music. As a guest, you get a special discount all the time, so you don't have to worry about cooking. And like a local, you can also enjoy our promotions and happy hours (not stackable with your guest discount).

At Marietta, rules aren’t restrictions—they are the rhythm that keeps the harmony in our Quinta Camacho mansion. Here is our roadmap:

✌️ Change of Plans (Cancellations)
Flexibility is key, but communication is law. Please let us know 48 hours in advance (by 3:00 PM local time) if your plans change. Late cancellations or no-shows will incur a charge for the first night plus taxes.

🔑 Check-In & Out
Check-In: The fun starts at 3:00 PM (15:00), and we wrap up the round at 11:00 PM (23:00).
Early Check-In: Arriving early? You can check in for 25% of the nightly rate (subject to availability).
Late Check-In: If you’re landing between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM, notify the front desk at least 24 hours in advance so we can wait for you.
Check-Out: Say your goodbyes by 10:30 AM. If you need a few extra hours of sleep (until 2:00 PM), ask about our Late Check-Out fee.

💸 The 'Deal' (Payments)
Payment is due upon arrival. We accept cash (COP, USD, EUR) and cards. We also offer payment links (additional fees apply).
Taxes: Colombian citizens must pay 19% VAT. Foreign travelers must present a valid passport with a migration stamp for tax exemption.

🤜🤛 The Big Crew (Groups)
For groups of 6+, the rules change. Depending on the season, we'll require a prepayment of 50% to 100% of the booking value. You have 48 hours to confirm payment or the space will be released. The remaining balance is paid through a payment link we'll send you, and the link amount includes an additional charge of up to 4% for the payment gateway commission.

🔞 Adults Only (Almost always)
Dorms: 18+ only.
Private Rooms: Minors are allowed only when accompanied by a family member (ID verification required).

🚫 The Hard Rules (Zero Tolerance)
Respect First: Marietta is a safe and diverse space. We do not tolerate any form of disrespect, discrimination, harassment, or aggression (physical or verbal) toward guests, visitors, or our staff. Hostile behavior will result in immediate expulsion without a refund.
Weapons: We are a territory of peace. Carrying or bringing any type of weapon or dangerous object into our facilities is strictly prohibited, regardless of permits.
Sexual Tourism: We join the fight against exploitation. We do not allow or tolerate sexual tourism or any activity related to the sexual exploitation of children or adolescents (Law 679 of 2001). Any suspicious behavior will be reported to the authorities.
Substances: Possession, use, or distribution of psychoactive substances (including mushrooms) is forbidden. Violation means immediate departure with no refund.
No Smoking: No smoking inside the mansion. Help us keep our air clean; the fine for violations is 200,000 COP.

🌮 Food & Drinks
Bring your food and enjoy it in the kitchen, but keep the bar outside.
External Alcohol: Bringing in or storing external alcohol in the refrigerator is not allowed. If caught consuming outside drinks, a fee of 2.5 times the commercial price of the bottle will be charged.
Confiscations: Closed bottles or beers will be held by our team. We’ll return them when you leave the property or at check-out.
Our Menu: Don’t overthink it. We have a food and drink menu designed just for you, with a special discount for our guests. Ask the front desk about today’s deals.
Note: Personal coolers and outside ice are not permitted.

🔊 The Marietta Beat
We are a hostel with a soul. During events, the volume goes up until 2:00 AM. If you’re looking for absolute silence early on, ask for earplugs at the front desk. After 11:00 PM (23:00), please respect others' rest in rooms and hallways.

🎒 Luggage & Towels
Bags: The first 24 hours are on us. After that, it’s 10,000 COP per day.
Towels: Rent one for your entire stay for 8,000 COP. If you’ve been with us for more than 4 days and need a fresh one, the swap is 4,000 COP.

We have limited space for cars and motorcycles.
It’s the perfect spot for travelers exploring the world on two wheels.
Important Note: The area does not have specialized security; vehicles are left at your own risk, though they remain within our property.
