The Camper Lodge is an eco-resort located in Khao Sok, Surat Thani, Thailand. Our bungalows are shipping containers lined with wood on the inside offering comfortable accommodation. It is located on the Hollywood Cliff, exactly on the site where the famous movie Gold was filmed in 2016. That’s why our bungalows have the word Gold written on them.

This was one of our favorite hostels of our 3 month trip! The scenery is unreal. You’ll find yourself taking the same photos of the mountains many times each day because of how stunning they are!! (And they’re RIGHT THERE at the hostel! The location is unreal.) The staff are so so kind and welcoming. We even got to play with the family’s new kitten! The food is so yummy and the tours the hostel offered were fun and easy to book! 100% worth a stay (we already want to come back!)

This is a really nice place if you really wanna be completely immersed in nature and peace.You are literally in the middle of nowhere. The food here is quite good,abundant and cheap. But i recommend buying a few snacks from 711 to have just in case ;) Also, there are very few ppl (i came ends of may) ,so if you wnt to make friends you have to be lucky for other travellers to come here at the same time as u. Overall if what you are looking for is to disconnect and be one with nature I recommend!

definitely a nice hostel with an amazing view however getting there is an absolute mission. the bus port is a 20 minute drive away and there are no grabs in the area. because of this the taxis in khao sok are really expensive. would recommend just staying in the main area
