Cancellation Policy:
Guests may cancel free of charge up to 72 hours prior to check-in with a standard reservation. For cancellations up to 24 hours prior to check-in, the first night's reservation will be charged.
Cancellations within 24 hours will be taken as NO SHOW, the full reservation will be charged.

Payment and Taxes:
Payment is also accepted upon arrival via cash, credit, or debit card.
All taxes are included.

1. Interpretation

In these Terms & Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the following expressions shall have the following meanings:

Arrival Date: The date on which the Guest is scheduled to begin their stay at the Hostel, as stated in the Booking Details.

Booking: The reservation made by the Guest for accommodation and any other products or services specified in the Booking and accepted by Sunset Hostels.

Booking Details: The information relating to the Booking, including the number of Guests, the number of rooms required, the length of stay, and any additional products, services, or other details included in the reservation.

Charges: The fees payable by the Guest in relation to the Booking.

Contract: The agreement between the Guest and Sunset Hostels regarding the Booking.

Guest: The person making the Booking.

Sunset Hostel: The hostel.

Guests: The Guest and any third parties staying at the Hostel under the Booking.

Hostel: The hostel owned or operated by Sunset Hostels, as specified in the Booking.

2. Bookings

2.1 Guests may make a booking through the Sunset Hostel website or by contacting the hostel staff directly.

2.2 When making a booking, guests will be required to provide identification details, including their name, address, telephone number, email address, and a valid credit card to guarantee the reservation.

2.3 A booking request shall not be considered accepted until Sunset Hostel confirms the reservation and provides a booking confirmation number. At that point, the Contract becomes effective.

2.4 Sunset Hostel will make reasonable efforts to accommodate any requested changes to the Booking Details, subject to availability. Any extension of stay or additional services will be charged at the applicable standard rates and/or any applicable surcharges.

2.5 For shared dormitories, Sunset Hostel will make every reasonable effort to accommodate members of the same group together; however, this cannot be guaranteed.

2.6 For bookings of two, three, or more guests, Sunset Hostel cannot guarantee that all guests will be assigned to the same room, as reservations are made by room category rather than by specific room. The hostel will do its best to accommodate such requests, subject to availability.

3. Rates and Payment

3.1 Charges will be those quoted to the Guest at the time the Booking is made.

3.2 Unless otherwise stated, Charges include accommodation only. Additional services, such as breakfast or bar purchases, may incur extra charges.

3.3 Guests will be informed of any additional charges before they are incurred.

3.4 Bookings must be paid in full in advance. Payment will be processed 72 hours before the Guest's arrival.

3.5 If payment has not been processed in accordance with Clause 3.4 due to the booking conditions or at the Hostel's discretion, the Guest must pay the outstanding balance upon arrival at reception.

3.6 Accepted payment methods:

3.7 Reservations of seven (7) nights or more may be subject to special conditions.

4. Promotional Codes and Temporary Offers

4.1 Active promotional codes are valid exclusively for bookings made through the Sunset Hostel website. Under no circumstances may these codes be used for bookings made through third-party platforms.

4.2 Promotional codes or special offers may be provided by email, newsletter, or directly by authorized staff at the hostel. Any commercial use, resale, or distribution of these promotions outside our official channels is not authorized by Sunset Hostel.

4.3 Temporary promotions are available exclusively through the booking system on our official website.

5. Individual and Group Bookings

5.1 Individual bookings are subject to the Hostel's general Terms & Conditions.

5.2 Reservations for eight (8) or more guests may be subject to special Group Booking conditions.

5.3 A group is defined as a reservation of eight (8) or more guests.

5.4 Group bookings require a security deposit upon arrival. The deposit will be refunded at check-out, provided that all booking terms and hostel rules have been complied with.

5.5 Group security deposits must be paid either in cash or by credit card pre-authorisation at reception.

6. Cancellations

6.1 Bookings may be cancelled free of charge if notice is given at least 72 hours before 3:00 p.m. on the scheduled arrival date. In such cases, a full refund will be issued, except for Non-Refundable rates.

6.2 Reservations made under a Non-Refundable rate are not eligible for a refund.

6.3 If the booking is not cancelled within the required notice period or in the event of a no-show, at least the first night's accommodation will be charged.

6.4 Sunset Hostel reserves the right to cancel a booking and provide a full refund if the accommodation becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond its control.

6.5 Sunset Hostel may also cancel a booking if the payment details provided are invalid and are not corrected within a reasonable period.

7. Check-in and Check-out

7.1 Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. Early check-in may be available subject to availability.

7.2 Check-out is by 11:00 a.m. Late check-out without prior approval may result in an additional night's charge.

8. Hostel Rules

8.1 Guests are encouraged to read the Hostel's FAQ section and Terms & Conditions available on the official website.

9. Food and Beverages

9.1 Food and beverages are not included unless expressly stated in the Booking.

9.2 The consumption of alcoholic beverages purchased outside the hostel is not permitted on the premises.

10. Guests with Disabilities

10.1 Sunset Hostel complies with all applicable legislation regarding accessibility and the accommodation of guests with disabilities.

10.2 Guests are kindly requested to inform the hostel of any special accessibility or assistance requirements before their arrival so that appropriate arrangements can be made whenever possible.
