You get what you pay for…. The hostel is very basic and you have most things you need there, but you do have to pay for a blanket and towel, the restrooms sometimes have toilet paper, sometimes not, same with hand soap and paper towels to dry your hands. They state that the place has a/c but what they don’t tell you until after you book is that the rooms are kept at 75*F (mine was at 77) and the hallways and bathrooms do not have a/c. It gets very hot and very humid in these common areas.

First time staying at a hostel and traveling solo, and so glad I stayed at this hostel!! Staff were very friendly and always felt safe. They were also very accommodating as well. As far as cleanliness, I wish the shower areas were cleaner. Bathrooms were ok. Still was a good amount of privacy in the area. But for the amount of women coming in and out everyday, I believe they do the best they can with keeping it tidy. Regardless, highly suggest this hostel especially for solo traveling women!

I’ve been solo traveling for over 15 years and stay in hundreds of hostels. This was one of the worst. The bathroom was always dirty. They cleaned it once out of the four days I stayed here. With that many people using communal bathroom, you need to clean it twice daily. Toilet paper was out for days. I had to ask twice but gave up and bought my own toilet paper rolls at Walgreens.
