Loved staying here, the vibe was great and the hostel was clean with a beautiful outdoor space. It’s in a great location for the Cat Ba area and the staff are really friendly and helpful especially when organising trips. The only negative thing was that they cleaned the rooms before 10am when people checked out which did wake us up.

Overall the hostel is good value for money. They initially made a mistake with our booking but the reception staff were really apologetic and rectified the mistake for the second night of our stay. The beds were large and comfortable and the blinds around the bed essentially black out. Pool is nice and free beer is a nice touch. Washing from 40k per kg. My friends locker didn’t work so he had to use mine. Breakfast not good. Lots of families stay in hostel and also a lot of French backpackers.

It is a decent hostel and the bunks are spacious with good black-out curtains. The pool is small but nice and there are a few loungers to sit at along with a dining area. The staff are incredibly friendly, smiley and helpful. You can rent a scooter for 100,000 VND per day and the staff will book your bus for you. The dorms have decent AC. The bathrooms are clean. The downside is that my locks didn't work for either small or big locker so had to put my valuables in my friend's locker.
