Ivy Hostel Cafe i Istanbul har en fantastisk beliggenhed, tæt på Taksim-pladsen og Istiklal-gaden. Personalet roses ofte for at være hjælpsomt og venligt, med særlig omtale af hr. Zakaria. Nogle nylige gæster bemærkede problemer med køkkenfaciliteterne og mangel på fællesområder til at møde folk.

There's 5 floors, one room on each floor. Kitchen is 2$ pr. day and there is no hangout spots (there's a cafe but it felt like you had to buy something) so it's really hard to meet people if they are not in your room. (I only shared with one 40ish year old man) Toilet was a bit smelly and the springs in the bed where quite bad. Owner lives in a room inside the room I had - odd. Only good thing was on 5th floor there was a outside terrace and location is good.
