Surfing Lion i Arugam Bay er et meget socialt hostel, der roses for sin utroligt venlige og imødekommende familieejede atmosfære. Gæster elsker de organiserede aktiviteter som surflektioner og campingture, hvilket gør det ideelt for solorejsende og backpackere, der søger et hjem væk hjemmefra. Service personnel are the kindest people on my whole trip of two months. I tried four different surfing teachers and Dinzo from the hostel is the best one of them and has a fair price. The beach as well as the restaurants/shops at main road with everything you need are easily reachable by foot. It's really easy to connect with new people here and the service personnel organises events if you want. The rooms and facilities are basic but perfectly fine for the price. I can only recommed it.

Owners are super nice, but to be honest its a shack. Between the rooms theres just curtain so youre actually sleeping 16 in a room. Ac is way too old, Im not gonna even talk about bathrooms.
