Welcome to Social Garden Hostel!

Located in a quiet neighborhood with all the facilities around, our very new hostel will give you the best experience to explore the city of Chiang Rai and its surrounding areas.
A 7-Eleven is available around 5 mins walking distance and the famous Saturday night market is 7 minutes walking away. The bus station is located around 20 minutes walk away.

Our hostel is meant to be social with our garden and daily activities to meet new people, socialize and explore around together.
This hostel is created by 2 Thai and 2 foreign backpackers. We wanted to create a place offering everything backpackers can wish and need, and keep a local inspiration to make you discover Thai and Chiang Rai culture

We will happily provide you with all the information to have the best stay in our city, we can rent a scooter for you and also organize day trips and tours.

Such a great hostel! Arrived and felt welcome straight away. The staff and facilities are excellent. Day trips, night outings always available. Lovely owners who get involved in the day to day life of visitors. Beds are really comfy and showers are hot! Breakfast included is a real bonus. Motorcycle rental can be organised by the hostel as well. Really social hostel, lots of card games, board games and table tennis. I would recommend this hostel to anyone! Thank you guys ❤️ I’ll be back. Xx

One of my favourite hostels so far. I extended my stay because I really felt comfortable and everyone working there is super friendly. I had a great time socialising even though I didn’t feel pressured to do it. Super clean and the location is really good (giving more of a local vibe). Lucy the Cat is a superstar. I’ll definitely go back :-)
