Welcome to Nivarta GuestHouse and Cultural Garden !

Nivarta GuestHouse is ideally located in Aesch, about 15 km from the centre of Basel.

We are a house full of life, fun and kind souls, welcoming musicians, family and any travelers or local.

You’ll feel home and will have full access to the house including bathrooms, kitchen and chill area.
You’ll also have access to our beautiful garden to enjoy the sun, play around, listen and/or play music and much more.
Plus, we also offer sauna access and a yoga and massage area.

Close to Basel city and with the bus stop right at the entrance of the house (Aesch, Hohenweg), you’ll be able to enjoy the house and outside area as well as visiting beautiful Swiss, German and French cities and landscapes.

We are impatient to welcome you and advice you the best places to visit around !

Cancellation Policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

This was the cheapest in Basel and I understand why. Quite far from city center (which they do say all over the booking but it was annoying). Stayed here during heatwave and was absolutely sweltering in the attic room. luckily my friends and i had the room with a door, but some rooms were only blocked by a curtain. there was 1 shower (no door just curtain which felt a bit unsafe) family was really nice

This is a family home and they live in the house with you. I booked the private room for 2 night 2 people. We got the 3rd floor room it was one of the only rooms that had a door. All other rooms are curtained off. There is a bathroom on each floor but the only shower is in the basement with the guest kitchen and fridge. The is NO hot water in any bathrooms or in the shower unless you ask same for the WiFi . Just know this is a guest house not a hostel!!
