A really mediocre hostel, justified only by its low price and good location. First, I booked this place because Hostelworld lists it as having a free breakfast. This is totally false: breakfast is not free, you do indeed have to pay. So that's misleading. The big room we stayed in has no AC and not even a fan, just two windows that you have to be lucky enough to get a bed next to. Fortunately, Lima isn't that hot but it can get humid and you're sleeping in a concrete box. No curtains on the beds either.

The hostel felt safe, and its central location made it convenient for getting around. Breakfast was simple but adequate. This isn’t a social hostel at all. There was essentially no atmosphere or opportunities to meet other travelers, so it’s probably not the best choice if that’s something you’re looking for. The bathrooms weren’t the cleanest and could’ve used a bath mat. The water pressure was so weak that it was little more than a trickle, making it difficult to shower properly.
