The hostel wasn’t too bad but we were placed in the room closest to the road and it was really loud. Also it said en-suite but it was a shared bathroom. My friend above me also had bugs in her bed. The staff were really nice but not the best experience.

Such a cool experience! You’ll hundred percent enjoy staying there if you like calm and peace. It’s like they turned a well structured building (someone’s home) into a hostel and everything was amazing. The staffs were great and always greets you with a smile, amenities are top notch.

I switch accommodations throughout my entire Sri Lanka trip. Tribe Hostel is by no doubt the best of all without doubt. The location is great, it is clean and comfortable to live. The manager (Nisha and Jaye) are extremely helpful, friendly and polite. I will go back to the same hostel if I come to Kandy again.
