The kitchen and the utensils were not clean. The bathroom in the room was not clean. And when we got into our room there were popcorn all over the floor by our bunk bed (we did not see them vacuum our room once in the three days we were there). The staff is very nice but it is definitely one of the less clean hostels we have stayed at. The common areas are nice and cozy though.
