Alexandra Hotel

Its like living in crappy apartment. Its small, dirty, old and rundown. But you have the basics like a bed and hot water. Here's a list of cons to elaborate: 1) Pipes are old 2) Bathtub clogged. Water wouldn't drain making shower impossible without flooding. 3) Bathtub filthy making bath very inadvisable. 4) Sheets and towels had holes from being worn out and old. 5) Staff wasn't really friendly and didn't really clean my room. 6) AC had no remote, I had to climb table to reach.

The 'hotel' lived up to our low expectations. You can only expect so much when you are paying so little to stay somewhere. With that being said, we found a bug in one of our beds!!! We brought it down to the front desk to notify them. All they did was release it outside and said 'I'm sorry'. They did nothing to compensate us in any way. Also, he did not record this at all. How is the room supposed to be cleaned/searched for more bugs if the receptionist didn't do anything? We won't ever be back.

Not a bad hotel if you are looking for a cheap place to shower and sleep, but do not expect much more....
