Ours is the best surf hostel for both professional surfers and absolute beginners. We offer surf lessons, surf tours and surfboard rentals with surf wear included. We also organize scuba diving and snorkelling tours to Houbihu, the harbour nearby. Our surf hostel is favoured by both Taiwanese locals and tourists from all over the world.

So you can get a great start to your day before heading out to the beach. There's also free Internet, free towels and toiletries, free air-conditioning, and free laundry, plus security lockers in the dorms!

We can provide surf lessons, surfing gear rental, motorcycle rental, painting tattoos, airport or train station pick-up service and day tours. Just ask!

We're a mere 100 metres' walk to Nan Wan, one of the most beautiful beaches in Taiwan. Nan Wan Beach is famous for its beauty as well as an abundance of water sports, which would surely keep everyone happy. It's also only a ten-minute walk to 7-11, the motorbike workshop and some great restaurants.

Wir waren 2 Nächte im Afei Hostel. Da unser Zimmer doppelt vergeben wurde mussten wir die erste Nacht in einem anderen Raum übernachten und nach der Nacht das Zimmer wechseln. Das Hostel ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Im ersten Raum kam ein Teil der Decke runter und alles andere war sehr dreckig. Überall war Staub und von den Vormietern lag noch Strohhalmpapier auf dem Boden. Im zweiten Raum war vor dem Eingang zum Badezimmer ein Loch im Boden, in dem Wasser stand.

Overall place is ok to stay at. Location is very close to the beach. Staff is nice! But the dorm is extremely small and not very clean. There is no window and the air gets very bad in there during the night. Only one toilet and shower for the dorm which you share with the restaurant downstairs. So you have to walk halfway through the kitchen if you want to use the bathroom. Next to the bathroom lays the fish on ice from the restaurant and the fishy smell is kind of everywhere there.

We've had a really lovely 3 night stay in Afeis surf Hostel :) Whether the price for one night is a little bit over the average in Taiwan, you'll get in return so many benefits renting things like a scooter, taking diving class or surf boards. You can also join the surfers twice a day and surf in different spots, they'll drive you there for free with their retro bully :) Breakfast was delicious and the best compared to all other hostels we stayed in on our trip! The stuff was also really nice!
