Welcome to Clink i Lár, part of Clink Hostels. True to its name — i Lár means “in the middle” in Irish — this sociable, budget-friendly hostel puts you right in Dublin city centre on Abbey Street. Temple Bar is around five minutes on foot, while Trinity College and Dublin Castle are under 10 minutes away. Dublin Airport is around 40 minutes away by express bus.

Choose from mixed dorms, female-only dorms and private rooms to suit different budgets, including rooms with city views. Dorm beds come with privacy curtains, reading lights, power and USB access, plus in-room lockers; bring your own padlock. Free Wi-Fi and bed linen are included, while towels are included in private rooms.

The social atmosphere centres on the communal spaces, WunderBAR and 24/7 café. Weekly Cinema Night, DJ, Ink & Drink and Karaoke events make it easy for solo travellers and groups to meet other guests without having to leave the hostel.

For added peace of mind, Clink i Lár has keycard access, CCTV, nightly security and a 24/7 staffed reception. Paid luggage storage is also available.

Very nice hostel, close to the city centre. Modern dorms with comfortable beds and enough privacy. Lockers, towels, and hairdryers come at an extra charge. Despite this, I would definitely recommend it and would stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay at Clink i Lár, the rooms were rice and I especially loved the common areas and the vibe there. The only thing that I would recommend is to maybe place a mat in the bathroom so the floor doesn’t get all wet but other than that it was a perfect place to stay for my first solo trip

I loved my stay there as it is located near many stores, restaurants and bars! They have security which makes it safer and the iPads make check in/out way faster and easier. The rooms were quite clean and the beds were amazing. For a hostel I wished there would be some sort of kitchen or a refrigerator as you have to go out for every meal or at least 2 if you get breakfast at the hostel.
