🛖Unearth Ancient Tayrona Treasures!
As the only hostel ON the hiking trail to the Lost City, we are your ideal spot to recover after your Lost City hike or as an affordable alternative. Witness remnants of the ancient Tayrona civilization for yourself. Jewelry, stone tools and pottery shards are found right on our land. You can even visit an ancient stone platform like at Ciudad Perdida.

You will be far off the beaten track. No cell-phone signal, no neighbors, no airplanes overhead – you just breathe in the purest air and listen to the soothing sounds of nature to fall asleep to. You wake up refreshed, to the sound of howler monkeys. With over 20 bird species you'll spot hummingbirds in the flowers, toucans in the trees and king fishers sheering over the water. Discover explore 50+ hectares of pristine jungle with over 1,5km riverfront. Ideal for nature lovers, adventure enthusiasts and backpackers.

💚Socializing, Jungle Style
After your group tour or fun workshop, savor a healthy vegan meal, served family-style around our communal table. In the evening, you watch a movie in our hammock cinema, while the jungle provides an epic soundscape. At the end of an amazing day, you fall asleep in your bed in the cozy 6-bed dorm, complete with orthopedic mattresses and mosquito nets.

Contributing to a greener planet is what defines us. We embrace eco-friendly construction methods and materials and have planted over a 1.000 trees to further decrease our environmental footprint. We generate our own power by a waterturbine and solar panels.

Blue Dot - jungle eco hostel Policy and Conditions:
Check in from 11.00 to 17.00 (please arrive before dark!)
Check out before 11.00 (late check-outs are usually not a problem, just ask us the day before)
Payment upon arrival by cash, taxes included (you can pay by card at 8% extra)
Cancellation Policy: 1 days before arrival.
Breakfast is included for free and a healthy home-cooked vegan lunch and dinner are available at $25.000 each.

Reception is open from 7:00 until 21:00 But outside of that, the Dutch owner and Colombian workers are available 24/7 in urgent cases. Since we already have 3 dogs and 3 horses, we can't accept other pets. The jungle is not an ideal place for families with small children, but they are welcome if supervised at all times. Since we are a new hostel, at times we are doing some upgrading on the construction, for example, building a bigger kitchen building. But during your stay, you will not be bothered by this, since all work is done manually.
