Our EcoTower and EcoLodge at Mundekulla

Our EcoTower’s top rooftop terrace stands at 27 meters high, commanding a stunning view over the forest and offering a panoramic sight up to 50 km around.

The concept of the EcoTower took root around 80 years ago when Berndt Elmberg, founder of Mundekulla, dreamt as a child of exploring beyond the forest where he grew up. Berndt began building the EcoTower towards the end of his life, and this year, we welcome our first visitors. The Renowned Swedish architect Stig Bengtsson, specializing in the restoration of stave churches, played a pivotal role in designing this wooden masterpiece. Supported by eight oak poles from the local forest, the EcoTower now reveals that beyond the forest lies... more forest! Welcome to Småland in Southern Sweden and to this, without exaggeration, unique accommodation!

EcoTower hosts our three star rooms; our King Room or two of our Queen with Twin Room, all with exclusive access to our TreeTop Lounge, full Kitchen and Lounge space, and TreeTop Terrace. Or experience the EcoTower in its entirety with beds for up to 8 people! Enjoy a drink on the top level, immerse yourself in a good book, or simply chill on the rooftop terrace.

Mundekulla Policy and Conditions:

Cancellation Policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
