The hotel offers easy access to the cities must-see destinations and makes a perfect base to explore the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka.

About the payments, you can pay in sri lankan rupees at the hotel. if you pay by card there will be an extra charge of 4% will add to the total amount.

Das Tishan Hostel in Polonnaruwa bietet eine ruhige Zuflucht mit seinem schönen Poolbereich mit Blick auf die Reisfelder. Was such a great place! The pool area was amazing, the room was really nice and clean. The owners are very nice and lovely, they prepare great food and even better breakfast. Their english is really amazing too, so they can provide really helpful tipps for your travels :) Just, its rather a hotel than a hostel.

A must in Polonnaruwa. Property was so pretty overlooking a rice field with lots of greenery. Pool was large and had two layers. Staff are friendly. Location was reasonably close to temples/palace. Food, especially the onion soup, was excellent. Prices are great for what you're getting. no dorm rooms but if you are looking for a break from the hostel grind I would highly recommend this place.
