Welcome to Leopold Chillout Hostel, a unique place to stay located in the very heart of Sarajevo, inside a charming Austro-Hungarian building that exudes character and history. Perfectly situated, our hostel allows you to easily walk to all the city’s major attractions, including Baščaršija, Latin Bridge, the Cathedral, as well as many museums, galleries, restaurants, and cafes.

Accommodation: The hostel has a total capacity of 22 guests, distributed across various room types to suit different needs and travel styles:

3 Four-Bed Rooms – ideal for small groups or travelers who want to meet new people while maintaining a bit of privacy.
Eight-Bed Room with Terrace – the perfect choice for larger groups or solo travelers looking for social interaction and a beautiful view of the city.
Private Family Room – equipped with a double bed and two single beds, perfect for families or friends who prefer more comfort and privacy.

Really lovely and friendly staff! Felt comfortable and it has a nice location. Unfortunately, our room (4-bed) had a slanted window with no curtain, so it got really really light in the morning, since the window was directly over the bed, from 5am on. The location of the hostel is great and central, however it is also pretty loud at night because it is directly over some bars.

Nahe der Altstadt gelegenes, sehr schönes Hostel. viele Museen und Shops sind schnell zu erreichen. Der Gastgeber ist sehr nett und hilft bei Fragen gerne weiter.

I wouldn’t stay here again. Had a reservation, arrived at 9pm and couldn’t get into the building. Had to WhatsApp the hostel to get the code, owner said he wasn’t there. I was never officially checked in or out, just paid the following morning and left. Very cramped room, bathroom didn’t feel clean. I only stayed one night and woke up with a large roach on the floor next to my bed.
