Das Kalunay Hostel in Puerto Viejo De Talamanca bietet eine fantastische, gut ausgestattete Küche und einen schönen Außenbereich. Gäste schätzen das freundliche Personal und die günstige Lage, nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Zentrum entfernt. Jüngste Rückmeldungen weisen darauf hin, dass die Zimmer klein sein und keine Klimaanlage haben können und das WLAN unzuverlässig sein kann.

Das Hostel ist an sich sehr schön und auch die Küche ist sehr groß und sehr gut ausgestattet. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker. Leider ist das WLAN sehr schlecht und in den Zimmern gar nicht verfügbar. Die Zimmer sind zudem für 4 Personen etwa szu klein und teilweise ohne Klimaanlage. Außerdem war hinter unserem Zimmer eine Baustelle, sodass es teilweise sehr laut war. An einem Abend wurde ohne Vorwarnung oder Informationen das Wasser abgestellt.

Ich fand es sehr gut, dass man den Pool aus dem anderen Hostel sowie das Abendliche Programm nutzen konnte. Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Es gab leider viel zu wenig duschen und Toiletten. Insgesamt hat es uns an Sauberkeit gefehlt. Keine AC im Zimmer. Sehr warm.

The outside area is really nice but not too social which didn't bother us. The rooms on the other hand were rather small and not air conditioned (there is a fan tho) which was fine for sleeping. The breakfast was good and the woman making it very friendly just as the rest of the staff. The location is also very convenient since it is just a 5-10 minute walk into the center of puerto viejo but it's not noisy. We would definitely come back! :)
