New World Kerikeri Rotary Garden Safari

If you enjoy wandering through gardens, the Kerikeri Rotary Garden Safari offers a chance to explore a variety of private green spaces around Kerikeri and Paihia. You’ll find everything from cozy urban gardens to larger rural landscapes, each carefully tended and full of character. The self-guided format lets you take your time, following a detailed map and booklet that highlight the unique features of each spot. Along the way, you can pick up plants and enjoy refreshments, making it a relaxed way to spend a day outdoors. Beyond the gardens, the event supports local youth and community projects through the Rotary Club of Kerikeri, adding meaning to your visit. It’s a quiet, thoughtful experience for anyone who appreciates nature and design without the rush of a guided tour. Whether alone or with friends, you’ll find moments of calm and inspiration in these varied settings. The mix of garden styles keeps the day interesting, offering fresh discoveries at every stop.
