Melbourne Diwali

Melbourne Diwali brings a vibrant mix of dance, music, and food to Docklands, creating a lively celebration that lasts all day. The main stage features performances from classical Indian dance to energetic Bollywood and Bhangra, keeping the energy flowing from afternoon into evening. Alongside the shows, hands-on activities like henna application, rangoli, and diya painting invite you to try something creative. The food market offers a variety of vegetarian dishes, perfect for sampling traditional flavors while you explore the event. As dusk falls, the lighting ceremony transforms Marvel Stadium Square with hundreds of glowing lamps, adding a warm, festive touch. This moment brings a gentle pause to the excitement, inviting you to take in the beauty of the lights and the shared experience. Whether you come with friends or join others drawn by the music and culture, the event offers a rich blend of sights and tastes that linger long after the night ends.
