Mozartiana

Mozartiana marks the start of Teatro Piccinni’s dance season with a graceful tribute to Mozart’s music, brought to life by Compagnia AltraDanza. You’ll see dancers Giuseppe Picone and Vito Pansini interpret the composer’s world through movement, guided by Domenico Iannone’s choreography and direction. Picone, known for his role as artistic director at Teatro di San Carlo, brings a refined touch to the performance. The setting itself adds a layer of history, as Teatro Piccinni is Bari’s oldest theater, dating back to 1854. The show blends physicality and poetry, inviting you to experience Mozart’s compositions in a fresh, visual way. It’s a chance to appreciate ballet’s storytelling power alongside classical music’s timeless appeal. Whether you’re familiar with Mozart or new to ballet, the performance offers moments that resonate quietly and deeply. Sharing the experience with others in this historic venue can make the evening feel both intimate and special.
