Cosplay and Candy: Durham Truck or Treat Fan Festival

If you’re looking for a Halloween event that mixes the excitement of a fan convention with classic trick-or-treating, this festival offers just that. Kids and teens can roam from food truck to food truck, collecting candy while showing off their costumes. Along the way, you’ll find artists to meet and fellow fans to chat with, making it a lively spot for anyone into anime, comics, or gaming. The day is packed with games, live entertainment, and competitions where prizes add an extra layer of fun. Beyond the candy and costumes, the event creates a space where families can enjoy the holiday together without the usual hassle. The mix of activities means there’s always something happening, whether you’re watching a contest or joining in on a game. It’s a relaxed way to celebrate Halloween with your crew, surrounded by others who share your interests. You’ll leave with more than just treats—you’ll have a few new stories to tell too.
