Jam Session

If you play an instrument or just enjoy live jazz, this weekly jam session offers a relaxed space to listen and join in. Musicians of all levels come together every Sunday, sharing the stage and trading ideas without pressure. The Mathieu Franceschi Quartet provides a steady groove, creating a solid foundation for guest players to add their own flavor. Whether you’re looking to try out new riffs or simply soak in the music, you’ll find a welcoming crowd that appreciates the spontaneity of jazz. The event naturally draws a mix of locals and visitors who appreciate the genre’s improvisational spirit. It’s a chance to hear fresh takes on familiar tunes and discover new sounds as players feed off each other’s energy. Even if you’re not performing, you can enjoy the ebb and flow of the music in a setting that feels both intimate and lively. This is a great way to connect with Chiang Mai’s jazz scene in a casual, unpretentious environment.
