Long Beach Turkey Trot

The Long Beach Turkey Trot offers a lively way to kick off your Thanksgiving morning with a choice of 5K or 10K runs along the scenic coastline. Whether you prefer to run or walk, the event welcomes all ages and fitness levels, including a special half-mile Wingding designed just for kids. You’ll get a race bib and shirt to mark the occasion, and there’s a fun twist: every 15th finisher wins a holiday pie. It’s a festive tradition that blends exercise with a bit of friendly competition. Beyond the race itself, the event creates a relaxed, inclusive vibe where families and friends can enjoy the fresh air and holiday spirit together. The course’s coastal views add a refreshing backdrop, making the effort feel worthwhile. Even if you’re not chasing a personal best, the chance to share the morning with others who appreciate a good run and a slice of pie makes it a memorable way to start the day.
