Lighted Boat Parade

The Lighted Boat Parade transforms Santa Cruz Harbor into a festive scene as fifty powerboats and sailboats glide by, each decked out in holiday lights. You can enjoy the show from the shore, where hot drinks and snacks are easy to find, making it a cozy way to spend an evening. If you want a closer look, booking a charter boat lets you follow the parade route on the water. This event runs rain or shine, so it’s a dependable way to start the holiday season. Watching the boats drift through the harbor offers a gentle rhythm to the evening, with each vessel adding its own creative touch to the display. Families and friends gather along the waterfront, sharing in the simple pleasure of lights reflecting on the water. Whether you’re there for the festive decorations or the chance to be part of a local tradition, the parade provides a relaxed, enjoyable outing that fits well with the season’s spirit.
