Requiem de Faure

Requiem de Faure offers a chance to hear Gabriel Faure’s original vision brought to life with a smaller choir and orchestra, conducted by Mireia Barrera. This approach highlights the work’s quiet spirituality, creating a more intimate experience than usual. Alongside Faure’s piece, you’ll hear selections by Schubert and Barber, performed by the Orquestra Da Camera and Cor Barcelona Ars Nova. If you appreciate classical music that balances solemnity with delicate beauty, this program will resonate deeply. The event’s focus on a reduced ensemble allows the nuances of each composition to come through clearly, inviting close listening to the subtle interplay between voices and instruments. It’s a setting where the music’s emotional depth can be felt without overwhelming grandeur. Whether you attend alone or with others, you’ll find moments encouraging reflection and quiet appreciation. This performance suits those who enjoy thoughtful, carefully crafted interpretations of classical works.
