World Petanque Festival

The World Petanque Festival brings together players from around the world for a day of friendly competition on the beach at Koh Lanta. You can watch matches across men’s, women’s, and youth divisions as the tournament unfolds from morning through to the evening finals. The setting at David Pizza & Petanque offers a relaxed backdrop where you can enjoy food and drinks while following the games. Whether you’re a petanque fan or just curious, it’s a chance to see the sport played in a lively, informal environment. Beyond the matches, the festival has a welcoming pace that lets you soak in the seaside atmosphere without feeling rushed. The mix of players and spectators creates a casual crowd that’s easy to chat with or simply enjoy from a distance. As the day progresses, the awards ceremony adds a sense of closure and celebration to the event. It’s a good fit if you appreciate low-key sports events with a social touch and a scenic location.
