Top Events Verona, Italy

Verona in 2026 offers a fascinating lineup of things to do, especially if you're into soaking up history with a modern twist. With 29 events ready to explore, the ancient Roman Arena often takes centre stage, bringing grand opera performances and big-name concerts to life under the open sky. Imagine seeing a show in a space that's stood for thousands of years; it’s a chance to experience something truly special, far removed from your usual gig venues. The warm evenings of the summer season are particularly popular for these outdoor spectacles.
Expect a blend of local crowds and fellow travellers, all enjoying the city's historic backdrop. Beyond the big shows, check out smaller cultural happenings in neighbourhoods around the Adige River or the lively Piazza delle Erbe, where pop-up markets, street performers, and food stalls add to the atmosphere. Staying in hostels keeps things budget-friendly and close to the action, making it easy to link up with new mates for a night out. Verona in 2026 is history, music and a crowd worth joining.
