Lomamme aikana Taorminassa yöpymme kauniissa sisilialaisen casarupilion bed and breakfast -kaupungissa, joka on Välimeren puoleinen, ja se on kuuluisa antiikin kreikkalaisesta teatteristaan ja siitä, että se on vain lyhyen ajomatkan päässä Euroopan suurimmasta aktiivisesta tulivuoresta Etna ja katso meidän parveketerassi.

We booked a room with en-suite bathroom. This option doesn’t even exist at this place. There’s one shared shower for all rooms and even that didn’t work. There’s no A/C in the room, only a broken ceiling fan. One of the beds broke down the moment I sat on it (I’m not a heavy woman!) They call themselves bed&breakfast but all you get for breakfast is coffee. And there’s no kitchen. The terrace is disgustingly dirty, all the furniture there is old, broken and filthy. Stale smell everywhere.

The two brothers were very friendly and accommodating, providing us with a number of fresh towels, breakfast and coffee in the morning, and offered lots of advice of where to go and what to see. A really great value for money stay in the centre of Taormina!

Hosts are not on WhatsApp so contact on email. Booked 2 consec. nights as separate bookings & paid for both on first morning. Allocated street level bedroom with 4 beds en suite. Shower head held together with sticky tape & there was an extremely long black hair on washbasin on arrival. 'Air con' was an old fan for potentially 5 people. Not greatly effective in 30s heat. Street was noisy day & night. Shower mat was old/dirty. No fridge/kettle. I didn't wait for 'breakfast' on 2nd morning. HOT
