The hostel has a sun terrace and views of the garden. Guests can enjoy various activities in the surroundings, including snorkelling in beautiful reefs, kayaking trough three mangroves lagoons that interconnected with natural tunnels, diving and night swimming in the 'Enchanted Lagoon' to experience the bio luminescence of plankton, partying with the local afrodescendants dancing 'champeta' and others Caribbean rhythms.

Samán Hostel is fully surrounded by nature: you will see the best green mangroves and amazing blue waters! Come and enjoy our incredible vegetation full of palm-trees and majaguas, discover birds and lizards everywhere, dive in the warmest and crystalline waters, and swim with thousands marine species. Enjoy walking around all the paths trough the Dry Tropical Forest. Escape into a paradise full of mangroves lagoons to kayak, experience diving around glowing plankton lagoon where you'll feel that are swimming with stars, breathing pure air and witness nights full of constellations away from the cities. Also you can meet the natives in Orika town, discover their traditions music and dances. This people are descendants of Benkos Biohó, the former African Prince that taught army strategies, that escaped from the slave port of Cartagena with ten others, and founded 'San Basilio de Palenque' or Village of the Maroons, the first free town in the Americas.

Our house has: two private rooms (20 square meters each) with amazing view to the garden, closet, safety box, mosquito nets and two fans. A spacious dorm (45 square meters) with twelve beds in triple bunk beds with a large balcony to the garden, lockers, mosquito nets and fans. Two bathrooms, a lounge with traditional hammocks to relax, a living room full decorated with a selection of Colombian handcrafts, a full equipped kitchen with filtered water and an ice maker machine, a deck with a beautiful table to eat next to the trees. Free amenities including: white linen, towel, mosquito nets.
