After reading the reviews I was a bit skeptic, but actually the hostel was great! Very clean and safe, the location is very good, just behind Aqua shopping center. The pool area is beautiful and there's plenty of areas to relax. The only thing that I was very sad about was that it was so incredibly hot in the room, that they switched on this terrible old fan which sounded like having a helicopter in the room and i had no sleep at all. So make sure that you bring ear plugs!!

This hostel has good and bad aspects. There was only one socket per room to be shared between 4 people, lockers in the rooms did not close properly and therefore couldn’t actually be locked, the kitchen smelt awful and the facilities were filthy. Shower areas were unclean and hot water was only available half of the time. However the pool area and the view from the outside terrace was lovely as well as the free breakfast included. Hostel was in a dodgy area within portimao so felt unsafe.
