We were really looking forward to go to this hostel. We booked a double bed with ensuite. Unfortunately when we arrived after quite a long walk from the town center, the staff told us there were no ensuite with double bed room and the toilet were at the first floor. Not convenient really and hard to compromise. The staff told us that it is not the first time this issue happened.

Overall it wasn’t an awful stay for a stopover in Pakse, however not sure why the reviews are as high as they are!! The hostel doesn’t look anything like the photos and was actually very dirty. Beds aren’t allocated so at a first come first serve choice, however the beds we chose looked like they had been slept in and not changed! The room also smelt really bad like egg. Lockers under the beds were very small so couldn’t fit in all our stuff. Location close to everything. Staff were friendly.
