The location is great, beds were comfy and the place is relatively clean. The female dormitory has got 52 beds and due to the nature of the room it is inevitably loud and can be disturbing but overall was good value for money

The Kitchen Hostel Ao was a genuine pleasure to stay at. The thought and care that is put into the aesthetics is incredible. It is extremely clean, there is so much space in the 10 bed female dorm that you don’t even feel like you are in a hostel. The bed is comfy, the showers were unreal and the staff are at the reception 24 hours a day. There are even large lockers seperate from the room to store big bags and suitcases. I’ve never stayed at a hostel as nice as this before.

Great hostel in the city, walking distance to food, convenience stores and a shopping street. It’s close to the Airport, Outlets, and most importantly Naha Bus Terminal which is great for busing around the island! Girls go to the girls dorm to shower even if they stay in mixed dorms too. Enjoyed my stay and would come again. Staff is ready round the clock, door codes to enter the dorms are changed at 3pm, but they update you at the desk. I also left my baggage for a few hours after checkout!
