Casanaga

Casanaga is located in the beautiful village of Almáciga in northern Tenerife. We offer a mixed dormitory room, a female dormitory room and multiple private room options. If you need to cook we offer a fully equipped kitchen, which you may not need because we offer a free breakfast and a reasonably priced home-cooked family dinner on our terrace. We have a co-working space equipped with super fast fibre Wi-Fi and places to charge your devices. We have a communal space 'Casita' with a terrace that looks right out to the ocean. There are many instruments, boards and workout gear you can borrow. There are a plethora of opportunities to meet other travellers, as we host many social events throughout the week, including art workshops, yoga, guided hikes, surf socials, concerts, game nights, volleyball, and many other amazing activities. There is no other place to go if you would like to meet other travellers, listen to and perform live music, and enjoy the beauty of nature with others. Some nights you might find yourself in a spontaneous jam session, star gazing night, or engaged in conversation with world travellers and our amazing owner Ollie. This is the place to go if you need a reminder that life can be amazing.

Casanaga is your home in paradise, located in the Anaga region of Tenerife, where you can reach the black sand beaches in 5 minutes, go on breath-taking hikes right in our backyard, and easily reach quaint little villages such as Taganana, Roque de la Bodega, and Benijo. You can hike to the beautiful mountain village of Chamorga, the stunning Faro lighthouse, and many miradors'. We are only a 45 minute bus ride away from Santa Cruz, the capital city of the island. We tend to attract solo travellers who want to visit a more peaceful part of the island and have a relaxing time. Many surfers, hikers, photographers, artists, writers, musicians, yogi's and people who work to make the world a better place go here. Many local and international influencers come to this place to get inspired while having a life changing experience.

We offer free towels, fully made beds with high quality sheets, and a sea breeze that always keeps the room cool. All rooms and common spaces provide a stunning view of the ocean and are thoroughly cleaned every single day by our amazing and welcoming team. Casanaga was built by its original Canarian owner, maintaining the Tenerife aesthetic and relationship with its community. When you walk in, you immediately feel at home, which is why many guests often extend their stay with us. Our mixed dormitory is located on the ground floor, our female dormitory is located on the first floor, and our private rooms are located throughout all floors. Our communal Casita room is located on the first floor and our terrace is on the third floor.
