After the fire on March 8, 2025, that completely changed our path, Macarena is reborn with a brand-new concept. We redesigned every detail to offer a unique hotel experience in El Paredón, featuring luxury rooms with air conditioning at an excellent price.
Each room includes a double bed, functional furniture, and a cozy atmosphere designed for your comfort.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Payment upon arrival by cash, credit & debit cards.

We loved this hostel perfect for couple not wanting the craziness of a party scene. There are plenty of party’s around this cute surf town so no need to have it at your hostel. The palm thatched tents made us feel like we were in Bali, the host Josephine was very kind and easy to communicate with. Cozy bed clean and simple showers. Towels, mosquito net, filtered water and a warm show was great and all we needed :)

Comfy tipi, very clean. Very small but close to beach, and bathroom doors are way too small so no privacy. Shower with bikini on! Main gate does not lock, and tipi is zip only, so anyone from street can enter

Hostal Macarena is the perfect place to stay in El Paredón! The location is unbeatable, just steps from the beach. The beds are super comfortable, and the tipis are surprisingly cool at night with futuristic fans, sometimes even chilly! It’s a unique glamping experience that combines comfort and authenticity and the price for the value is excellent.
